1.  Brovary area (70 km east from Kyiv)

Location:  Brovary area, 70 km east of the city of Kyiv.

Purpose:  To set up small business projects such as mushroom growing, food processing, bio-eco-fertilizers, etc. to provide employment for local residents and ATO war veterans.

Description of the land plot:  The village authorities are looking forward to assist in such job creation projects.  Some infrastructure such as underground food facilities storage is already available and needs to be updated to be converted into a mushroom growing area.

Planned construction:  The underground food storage facilities have to be upgraded with technologies (air conditioning, lighting, refrigerator, packaging) to facilitate mushroom growing and distribution.

Self-financing:  Mushroom growing project will be self-financing within two years.  A cooperative will be set up.  Food produced will be distributed through independent outlets, one major chain of grocery stores and the main city market.

Financial assistance needed:  a 3-year loan of 90,000 USD.  Interest rate to be agreed upon.

Total cost of the “Brovary area” project:  loan of 90,000 USD

2.  Downtown Kyiv area 

Location:  downtown of the city of Kyiv.

Purpose:  small business being sold by owner.  Premises to be refurbished. Income will go towards the support of a home for adult orphans.

Description of the premises:  Fully functional premises of 30m2 on the first floor with own entrance. Requires total refurbishing.

Planned construction:  Refurbishing works will require two months to be completed.

Self-financing:  Income will be generated immediately upon termination of refurbishing works.  
Financial assistance needed:  a 7.5-year loan of 60,000 USD.  Interest rate to be agreed upon.

Total cost of the “Downtown Kyiv area” project:  loan of 60,000 USD

3.  Cherkasy area (200 km south of Kyiv) 

Location:  Cherkasy area, 200 km south of the city of Kyiv.

Purpose:  To grow corn, peas and garlic, and food processing.  Fish farming and food processing.  Employment for local residents and ATO war veterans.

Description of the land plot:  20 ha to 100 ha of arable land.

Planned construction:  Semi automatic food processing line to be installed in a rented plant.

Self-financing:  The project will be self-financing within two years.  A cooperative will be set up.  Food produced will be distributed through independent outlets, one major chain of grocery stores and the main city market.

Financial assistance needed:  a 5-year loan of 50,000 USD.  Interest rate to be agreed upon.

Total cost of the “Cherkasy area” project:  loan of 50,000 USD

4.  Zhytomyr area (350 km west of Kyiv) 

Location:  Zhytomyr area, 350 km west of the city of Kyiv.

Purpose:  To grow linen, hop, milk farming and food processing.  Fish farming and food processing. Employment for local residents and ATO war veterans.

Description of the land plot:  2,000 hectares  

Planned construction:  Semi automatic food processing line to be installed in a reconstructed plant.

Self-financing:  The project will be self-financing within two years.  A cooperative will be set up.  Food produced will be distributed through independent outlets, major chains of grocery stores and the main city market.  Linen to be sold to clothes manufactures.

Financial assistance needed:  a 5-year loan of 250,000 USD.  Interest rate to be agreed upon.

Total cost of the “Zhytomyr area” project:  loan of 250,000 USD
